“Our 10 year old daughter began to vocalize her hesitation to want to fully engage in Math at school. She was saying things like ‘I’m just not a Math person’. My wife and I picked up on this and reached out to Sree to see if he could help re-engage her interest as she had shown a keen ability in basic math up until 4th grade. We were especially interested in seeing if his approach could help guide our daughter with Math anxiety around test taking that she started to encounter due to a (New York State) Regents test that was fast approaching.

Our daughter is a good test taker but would sometimes make simple mistakes. Sree helped guide her by giving her a method to take the test as well as to pique her interest with his approach to teaching elementary Math concepts. His approach of teaching her test taking strategies as the test approached worked wonders to calm her down before the test by preparing her with a process for taking the test.

She did exceptionally well on the test thanks to Sree’s tutoring methods. We’re grateful for the time Sree has spent helping her to enjoy and love math as she progresses beyond elementary school math and moves into middle school next year. We plan to continue with the Imagination club tutoring sessions as she moves though more advanced Math in the next few years.

When my daughter was faced with the task of enrolling in high school and taking placement exams, she was not feeling strong in some skills, particularly math. Sree worked with her for months preparing for those tests instilling knowledge and confidence to succeed at math. With Sree's instruction she was able to get into her first pick for high school and she skipped Algebra 1 and went straight to Geometry freshman year.
